District Women's Ministries
Pastor Hope Reynolds is the second oldest of nine children born to George and Hilda Lonneville who resided in upstate New York.
In 1975 Hope graduated from Waterloo Senior High School and married her sweetheart, David Reynolds. Together Hope and David left for Northwest Bible College in Minot, North Dakota. While in Bible College, Hope served with her husband in a rural Methodist church in Benedict, ND and the first of four sons (Jeremiah, Aaron, Benjamin and Ethan) was born.
In 1980 Hope and David sensed the Lord calling them to Thurmont, Maryland. Together they have Pastored Victory Tabernacle in Thurmont and served the Lord in the Air National Guard for over three decades.
Hope not only is a compassionate Pastor, she also continued her education as a Radiological Technologist receiving her degree and license from the state of Maryland. Hope fully believes and practices God’s love for the “entire person”-body, soul and spirit. Hope not only loves God’s children but is especially blessed to love her five grandchildren.
Empowered Women
Empowered Women’s Ministries is an active ministry of dedicated women of the Pentecostal Church of God. Women’s ministries exist to represent Jesus Christ throughout the earth. We are laborers together with God, EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit to impact our families, our communities, our nation and our world.We exist to encourage women in the truth of God’s Word and the pursuit of deeper relationship with Him. Therefore, it is important to us to provide Biblical based resources to help disciple and challenge women in their walk with God at every seasonal stage of life and leadership level. Empowered Women’s Ministries exists to represent Jesus Christ throughout the earth. By the power of the Holy Spirit, our mission is to evangelize, disciple, encourage, and equip women to live the Empowered life in Christ. We are here to encourage you and provide resources to help women in their walk with the Lord.
